Clevertouch Will Not Turn On

Summary

The Clevertouch board in my room will not turn on. This applies to both wall mounted and mobile Clevertouch boards

 

Step-by-Step

  1. Ensure the power cord is plugged into a good working outlet. If connected to a surge suppressor, ensure that is on and functional. On the mobile carts, the power cord is normally plugged into a power strip mounted on the base of the cart. Ensure the power strip is plugged in, on, and functional.
  2. Ensure power cord is plugged into the board. Double check to make sure it is not loose.
  3. Check the On/Off switch on the bottom of the board, near where the power cord plugs into the board, to ensure it is in the On position.
  4. If the above conditions are met, there should be an illuminated red light in the lower left corner of the board. 
  5. Press the Power button to turn on the board. Depending on the model, it is either on the right side of the board, or the red light in the lower right is the power button.
