Body
What does a 403 error code mean, and how can you troubleshoot it?
Summary
A 403 error means you are logging in under invalid credentials (picture shown below). Usually this means you are using your alias work email (firstname.lastname), instead of your District email, which is tied to your District Google and Microsoft account.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Identify your District account login:
- Mary Anne born 8/14/1998 = anne_m0814@lansingschools.net
2. Completely log out of the application, then sign back in using the correct credentials.
3. Clear your cache under your browsers settings to ensure a smooth process.
Troubleshooting/Notes
1. Mary Anne was using mary.anne@lansingschools.net, which is an alias assigned to her district account. This will prompt a 403 error code as the web applications deems this as invalid according to its records.
2. Always check to make sure you are using the first 5 letters of your last name (insert an ‘_’ for every letter under 5; e.g. anne = anne_)., followed by the first letter of your first name, two digit birth month and two digit date of birth (e.g. 04/15/2003 = 0415), with @lansingschools.net at the end to tie it all together.
