Need to assign a fee to a student for a broken/lost Chromebook or Chromebook charger?

Step-by-Step

To add a Current Fee

  1. Synergy SIS > Fees – Direct Payment > Student Fees
  2. Find the appropriate student.
  3. Click Add in the Current Fees section to open the Add Student Fee screen.

  4. Underneath Fee Information, enter the appropriate information below.
    1. Fee Code (choose one below):
      • Tech20: Technology Device Replacement Fee
      • Tech25: Chromebook Power Cord
    2. Once a fee code is selected, this screen will auto-populate with information pertaining to the selected fee code. 
    3. Notes:
      • Not required, but you can record any details/instruction related to the particular fee, such as damages.
    4. If Tech20 is selected, the information populated should look like this:

    5. If Tech25 is selected, the information populated should look like this:

  5. Select Save. The fee will display under the Current Fees section.

To add a Payment History

  1. Select Show Detail next to the Current Fees section:
  2. Scroll to select Add in the Payment History section to add a Payment History record.

  3. In the appropriate fields, enter the information. All other fields left blank will auto-populate based on the information given. 
    1. Date – Date of the payment.
    2. Time – Time of the payment.
    3. Amount – Amount of the payment.
    4. Payment Method – Cash, Check, Credit/Debit, Online
    5. Check Number – If applicable.
    6. Payment Note – Any additional information regarding the payment.

  4. Select Save. The fee is no longer under Current Fees, as it moved to the Paid Fees section.

  5. You can view more information regarding Paid Fees or Outstanding Fees on the History tab of the Student Fees page.
