Summary
This article provides troubleshooting steps to take when sound comes out of your laptop instead of the Clevertouch board while screen-sharing.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Begin screen-sharing to your Clevertouch board, with either the Clevershare app on your laptop (wireless), or an HDMI cable (wired).
2. In the bottom right corner of your screen, click on the Speaker icon
3. In the following menu, click on the "Select a sound output" icon . It is located underneath the brightness slider, next to the volume slider.
4. The Sound Output menu will open:
- If you are using Clevershare to screen-share to your Clevertouch board, select "Speakers (Sharing Audio)" as your Output device.
- Alternatively, if you are using HDMI to screen-share to your Clevertouch board, select "PC Monitor" as your Output device.
NOTE: Please make sure you are already screen-sharing before you set a device as the Output device.
5. Play a video/audio clip to test if sound is now coming out of your board.
Additional Information
If sound is not working on your Clevertouch board outside of screen-sharing, please check your volume in the Settings menu.
