Username Setup

Username

• First initial of first name + " . " + Full last name (last name up to 20 characters, including hyphens)

Setup Example

• f.lastname

Examples

• John Smith = j.smith
• Sally Green-Doe = s.green-doe

District Password Resets

Visit iforgot.lansingschools.net to rest your district password. 

 

Staff Logins

District Computer Login

• Username Login: f.lastname
• Password Type: District password

 

Google Products

• Email Login: f.lastname@lansingschools.net
• Password Type: District password

Examples of Google Products

• Google Chrome browser
• Clever
• Google Classroom
• Google Suite (docs, slides, sheets, etc.)

 

Unified Talent

Used for PD days, mentor logs, etc.

• Email Login: f.lastname@lansingschools.net
• Password Type: District password

 

Work Order System

Used to submit tickets, browse the Knowledge Base, and view already submitted tickets by you. 

• Username Login: f.lastname
• Password Type: District password

 

Synergy

Used for grading, running reports, attendance, scheduling, etc.

• Username Login: f.lastname
• Password Type: District password

 

Office 365 (Email)

Used for Outlook (email), Excel, Word, Teams, etc.

• Email Login: f.lastname@lansingschools.net
• Password Type: District password

 

Employee Access Center (EAC)

Used for employee benefits, payroll, and time off balances, etc. Please email hrdept@lansingschools.net for further assistance with the EAC.

• Username Login: Employee ID# (or firstname.lastname@lansingschools.net)
• Password Type: Last 4 digits of SSN

 

Other Software

Examples such as RedRover, iObservation, CAASS/411, and other third-party applications.

• Hires Prior to May 11, 2026: No changes to your login credentials for these systems unless separately notified.
• Hires On or After May 11, 2026: Please use the username and password information provided to you during onboarding or account setup

Some applications may still use older username formats depending on vendor limitations or synchronization schedules.
