You can follow the steps below to change your password.

 

Step-by-Step

  1. Log in to your PC: Make sure you are logged in to your domain account on your Windows 11 PC.

  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete: This will bring up a security options screen.

  3. Select "Change a password": Click on this option from the list.

  4. Enter your credentials:

    • In the first field, enter your current password.
    • In the second field, type in your new password.
    • Confirm your new password in the third field.

  5. Press Enter: After entering your new password twice, press Enter or click on the arrow next to the confirmation field.

  6. Password Change Confirmation: You should see a confirmation message that your password has been changed successfully.

Alternative Solution

  1. Go to https://iforgot.lansingschools.net and follow the instructions on the web site.

 

Please note: Currently all systems EXCEPT Office 365 share the same password. If you change your password on your PC it will impact Synergy, Google, Clever and others.

 

Additional Information

  • Password Requirements: Ensure your new password meets your organization's complexity requirements (Passwords should be at least 8 characters and include at least three of the following, UPPER, lower, number or special character).

  • Domain Sync: After changing your password, it might take a few minutes for the changes to sync across all domain resources.

  • Locked Out: If you get locked out or have trouble changing your password, contact your please submit a ticket.
