A staff member states that they cannot hear other users or other users cannot see and/or hear them in a Google Meet.

 

Step-by-Step

  1. While in a Google Meet, navigate to the bottom of the screen where you see two icons that look similar to a microphone and video camera.



     
  2. Selecting the up arrow (^) symbol or the three dots (...) next to these options will bring up a menu to change these settings.
    • Default settings for audio are similar to the following:
      • "Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio)" for speakers
      • "Microphone Array (Realtek(R) Audio)" for microphone
      • "Integrated Webcam" for camera
